500hr RYT Yoga Teacher, Yoga For Everybody Teacher, Suzanne is CPR Certified.
Starting in her living room on the Wii, Suzanne found a love of yoga. Still using her original yoga mat from 2008, Suzanne leads a self-love, mindfulness approach
to teaching her practice.
When she moved to Fort Mill in 2010, she began her fitness approach in Zumba, Yoga and eventually (thankfully) to nia®. Due to her involvement in nia®, Suzanne found a more holistic approach to yoga. Instead of a fitness, “no pain, no gain” mindset, nia® brought a peace of listening to one’s own body and accepting where
you are…no judgement mindset.
Suzanne also felt that training in Nutrition would be essential to helping others (and herself) with their overall fitness. She began a certification course to become a Nutrition Health Coach in January 2013 (certified in December 2013).
Suzanne started her 200hr RYT training in August 2014 (certified in March 2015). Began teaching at Leroy Spring’s Complex (now part of the YMCA) in February
2016. Began her 300hr RYT training in April 2017 (certified in March 2018). And explored Reiki by becoming certified as a Reiki 1 Practitioner in May 2018.
